We are seeking a board certified or board eligible Infectious Disease physician to join a large multispecialty group in the Bronx. This is an outpatient-only opportunity with flexible scheduling options.

We are seeking a board certified or board eligible Infectious Disease physician to join a large multispecialty group in the Bronx. This is an outpatient-only opportunity with flexible scheduling options.

Position Highlights
- Outpatient-only practice
- Possible phone call coverage
- Part-time or full-time schedules available
- Work as little as one day per week
- Flexible scheduling based on location and patient demand
- Spanish speaking preferred, but not required
- EMR: eClinicalWorks
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic infectious diseases
- Review patient medical records, laboratory studies, imaging, and referral documentation
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including cultures and specialized infectious disease testing
- Develop individualized treatment plans for bacterial, viral, fungal, and parasitic infections
- Manage complex and drug-resistant infections
- Provide immunizations and counsel patients on infectious disease prevention
- Collaborate with primary care physicians and specialists on complex cases
- Identify and respond to potential outbreaks within the community
- Provide education to patients and staff regarding infection control and prevention
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Infectious Disease
- Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency and Infectious Disease fellowship
- Active New York State medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred
- Competitive salary range: $180,000-$250,000 annually
