The Janitorial Worker maintains a clean, orderly, and hygienic environment across common areas, including break rooms, bathrooms, front reception spaces, and office areas within commercial office and warehouse facilities.

• Clean and sanitize common areas such as break rooms, bathrooms, front reception areas, and office spaces on a regular basis.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in all designated areas to maintain a neat and safe environment.
• Dust surfaces, furniture, fixtures, and equipment to ensure a clean and professional appearance.
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with facility guidelines.
• Restock supplies in bathrooms and break areas, such as paper products and soap, as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness in commercial office and warehouse spaces, including shared corridors and entryways.
• Identify and report any maintenance or safety issues observed during cleaning activities.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and use appropriate cleaning products and equipment safely.

• Previous janitorial experience in commercial office or warehouse environments.
• Ability to perform cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming common areas.
• Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques and proper use of cleaning products and equipment.
• Attention to detail to ensure all assigned areas are thoroughly cleaned and presentable.
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to established cleaning schedules and procedures.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift as required to complete cleaning tasks.

• Experience cleaning both office and warehouse spaces.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong sense of responsibility and reliability in completing assigned tasks.
• Good time management skills to prioritize and complete cleaning duties efficiently.

This role is based in commercial office and warehouse facilities, focusing on common areas such as break rooms, bathrooms, front reception spaces, and office areas. You work with standard cleaning tools and products, including brooms, mops, vacuums, dusters, and cleaning solutions. The position involves regular physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting while performing cleaning tasks. Dress is practical and appropriate for janitorial work, allowing for comfortable movement and safe handling of cleaning equipment.

This is a Contract position based out of Belleville, MI.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Belleville,MI.
