Overview Stephens Hospital , located in Norway, Maine, is a 25-bed Critical Access hospital. The Birthplace at Stephens Hospital is a 4-bed unit with 2 overflow postpartum beds as needed. More than 200 babies are born each year at Stephens Hospital. This is a Per Diem Registered Nurse II vacancy open to candidates with more than 1 year of RN work experience. Position Summary The MaineHealth (MH) Registered Nurse II - Ambulatory Care role provides high-quality care to patients and families presenting for care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, and performs a wide variety of patient care services to assist physicians/advanced practice practitioners in delivering excellent care to patients of the practice. Responsibilities Provide high-quality, patient‑ and family‑centered care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Assist physicians/advanced practice providers in delivering care to ambulatory patients. Support obstetric patients across all stages of care, including labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care; participate in patient and family education. Qualifications / KSAs Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred. Licensure/ Certifications: Current RN license in applicable state(s); current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. Experience: One year of recent RN experience required. Automatic advancement from RN I level after onboarding requirements are complete, including the New Grad Residency where available.
