RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift, 4x10-hour schedule (07:00 - 17:30). Must be open to working weekends and occasional call.

We are seeking a dedicated Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional care in the cardiac catheterization laboratory. You will be responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and interventional cardiac catheterizations.
• Monitor patient vitals and sedation levels throughout procedures.
• Perform left and right heart catheterizations, and pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring.
• Administer and manage procedural sedation.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Cath Lab setting.
• Current California RN license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
