Job Title: HVAC & Facilities Systems Technician (Industrial)

Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable and technically skilled HVAC Technician to support the climate control and utility systems of our production facility. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end health of our HVAC infrastructure, from routine motor repairs to complex system diagnostics. You will play a critical role in minimizing operational downtime by executing a rigorous preventative maintenance schedule and responding swiftly to system outages. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who takes pride in system efficiency and facility uptime.

Key Responsibilities
• Systems Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and performance testing on plant-wide HVAC units and air handlers to ensure optimal operating conditions.
• Diagnostics & Repair: Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical issues. Service motors, refrigeration systems, and integrated control systems to restore functionality quickly.
• Work Order Management: Execute daily work orders with high attention to detail, documenting all repairs and communicating status updates clearly to supervisors.
• Reliability & Testing: Minimize facility downtime through proactive performance testing and scheduled inspections of mechanical systems.
• Technical Compliance: Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints to perform safe installs, repairs, and system upgrades.

Qualifications & Requirements
• Technical Expertise: Proven experience in HVAC maintenance, installation, and diagnostic troubleshooting within an industrial or large-scale commercial setting.
• Skill Set: * Deep familiarity with refrigeration systems, air handlers, and control logic.
• Proficiency in using specialized HVAC service tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong ability to read and follow technical schematics.
• Attributes: Reliable work ethic, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced plant environment.
• Certifications: * EPA 608 Refrigerant Certification (Highly Preferred).
