We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our PSCV (Product Safety Certification Validation) Verification Design System Integration team as a Digital Systems Engineer. In this role, you will part of a methods team that is responsible for developing, deploying, and supporting V&V system software solutions to enhance the efficiency of validation planning and build/test execution activities. You will work closely with validation engineers to understand process requirements, as well as other software teams across the company to define enterprise-compatible software solutions that best serve the business.

What You Will Do:

• Support and lead current software development activities within PSCV
• Extrapolate and understand the requirements of the Engineering user community to deliver optimal software solutions for validation planning of engine build and test activities
• Integrate with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), RTX Digital Technologies, and other Engineering software methods teams to foster strategic alignment across the enterprise
• Assist in the creation of a Digital Thread for the PSCV and Engine Test domain
• Support PSCV core discipline processes and methods to improve communication and efficiency

What You Will Learn:

• P&W Verification & Validation processes including System Design, Planning, Assembly, Instrumentation and Test
• P&W Engine programs, models, and technical specifications.
• P&W Engineering and Enterprise organizational structures and procedures

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering or 5+ years with an Advanced Degree
• Strong programming skills in multiple languages (Java, Python, C++) as well as experience with data science and system architectures
• Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Full stack software development experience
• Knowledge of distributed network patterns and methods
• Understanding of MBSE principles and methods (SysML)
• 5+ years engineering experience in aerospace
• Leadership and mentoring skills
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills

This position is classified as:

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
