Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Oncology team at Saint Francis Hospital & Medical Center in Hartford, Connecticut. The RN will provide safe and compassionate care to patients receiving infusion and oncology treatments while collaborating with the multidisciplinary healthcare team. Key Responsibilities ✓ Provide direct nursing care to patients receiving infusion therapies. ✓ Safely administer IV medications, fluids, and prescribed treatments. ✓ Monitor patients before, during, and after infusions for adverse reactions. ✓ Assess patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status. ✓ Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. ✓ Educate patients and families regarding treatments, medications, and potential side effects. ✓ Follow infection-control, medication-safety, and hospital policies. ✓ Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support quality patient care. Qualifications/Initial Requirements ✓ Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Connecticut or compact RN license. ✓ Active Basic Life Support (BLS) ✓Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification ✓ Previous infusion nursing experience strongly preferred. ✓ Oncology nursing experience is a plus. ✓ Strong IV/infusion therapy and patient assessment skills. ✓ Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and organizational skills. ✓ Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Ready for your next local or travel assignment?
