JOB SUMMARY

Collaborate with City leaders to develop and coordinate strategic internal communications plans and events in support of the mission, goals, and priorities of City Departments. Ensure employees are informed, engaged, and motivated, while reinforcing our organization's values and fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or related field, and two (2) years' progressively responsible experience working both independently and collaboratively in marketing/advertising, public information, and/or community relations; or any such combination of education, experience, and training as may be acceptable to the hiring authority.

Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as required.

• The City participates in the South Dakota Retirement System. Employees receive a 6% match. Additionally, employees may choose to enroll in a Deferred Compensation Plan.
