Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients from all disciplines within a specialized overflow unit.
• Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
• Collaborate effectively with in-house hospitalist and interdisciplinary teams to deliver continuous care.
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient care using Epic electronic charting system.
• Float to various patient care areas to support staff and deliver care to Medical Surgical patients.

Qualifications

• Current registered nurse license applicable for practice in Missouri.
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience required, including Med-Surg specialty.
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required; ACLS certification preferred.
• Experience with a 5:1 patient ratio in a fast-paced acute care environment.
• Skilled in the management of dysrhythmias, hemodialysis, and wound care.
• Proficient in using Epic for patient documentation and care coordination.
