Licensed Master Social Worker (LMWW) – Washington D.C. Work Location Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency (CSOSA), 633 Indiana Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20004. Employment Eligibility Must be a U.S. Citizen. National Background Check with Inquiries, Fingerprints, and Drug Screen required. Employment is full‑time (40 hours per week) for a period of five years from the award date. Paid Time Off: Up to 80 hours per year, accruing from day of hire. Sick Leave: Up to 56 hours per year, accruing from day of hire. Eleven (11) paid federal holidays. Job Summary Licensed Master Social Worker with experience providing behavioral health assessments, counseling services, and treatment planning for diverse client populations. Skilled in facilitating individual and group interventions, utilizing evidence‑based therapeutic approaches, maintaining clinical documentation, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support positive mental health and psychosocial outcomes. Responsibilities Conduct psychosocial assessments, behavioral health screenings, and case evaluations to identify client needs and develop appropriate treatment recommendations. Provide individual and group counseling services using evidence‑based interventions and approved therapeutic curricula to support emotional, behavioral, and psychosocial functioning. Develop, implement, and monitor treatment plans, documenting clinical services, progress, and outcomes in accordance with professional, ethical, and regulatory standards. Facilitate psychoeducational and therapeutic groups while utilizing program‑specific assessment instruments, curricula, and treatment tools under required training and supervision guidelines. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, community resources, and care providers to coordinate services, promote client stability, and support successful treatment outcomes. Qualifications Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field from an accredited college or university (e.g., Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs; APA‑CoA), and a BA. Full, current, and unrestricted license to practice within the fields of counseling, psychology, social work, or related field in the District of Columbia or a state, territory, or Commonwealth of the United States; training and required supervision to use the group curricula instruments and tools used in the contractor’s program.
