Accounting Manager

Accounting & Electronic Services Manager (Controller / Accounting Manager) Baylands Family Credit Union is seeking an experienced Accounting & Electronic Services Manager to lead our accounting, financial reporting, and electronic banking operations. This leadership position reports directly to the President/CEO and plays a key role in supporting the financial strength, operational excellence, and strategic growth of the credit union. What You'll Do Lead the Accounting & Electronic Services Department. Prepare financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and regulatory reports. Manage the general ledger, month-end close, investments, cash management, and Asset Liability Management (ALM). Prepare NCUA Call Reports and coordinate internal and external audits. Oversee electronic banking services, including online banking, mobile banking, ACH, debit/ATM card programs, bill pay, mobile deposit, and eStatements. Develop policies, improve processes, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Supervise and develop department staff while serving as a member of the leadership team. What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of two years of public or industry accounting experience, or equivalent work experience. CPA preferred but not required. Experience in accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and general ledger management. Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to effectively supervise staff.
