The Concierge/Front Desk is a key role in creating a safe and secure environment for our residents. The successful candidate will create and maintain a strong, cross-functional, staff relationship by encouraging professionalism, communication, dedication to customer service and a commitment to conscientious response.The Concierge/Front Desk serves as the information referral center for all residents, families, potential residents, staff, guests, community contacts, and others visiting the community.Key responsibilities include:Providing safe and timely response to emergent and non-emergent calls from residents.Monitoring security monitors and fire alarm systems in the building, including the garage and lobby area.Graciously greeting any community visitors, displaying exemplary customer service in a friendly and professional manner.Performing entry level tech support to residents as neededProviding administrative support for community operations including daily Concierge and Maintenance Reports, maintaining resident information and contact lists, support for holiday mailings and community celebrations, and much more.QualificationsMinimum 2 years of experience using Microsoft Office: Word/Excel/OutlookMinimum 1 year of experience answering phones and transferring calls.Excellent work history and attendance record.Comfortable with entry level office tasks such as printing and making photocopies, laminating, mail forwarding, and distribution of miscellaneous materials.Attention to detail and the ability to multitask, problem solve and communicate events accurately to management.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to respond calmly and politely to all residents, visitors and staff.Able to stay calm and focused on an emergency and ability to work independently with or without direct supervision.
