Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 4×10-Hour Shifts | Expected shift 7:00–17:00 | On-call coverage expected for 2 shifts per month | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care within the operating room setting
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties across surgical specialties including Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, and Trauma
• Participate in on-call coverage for an expected 2 call shifts per month
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner electronic health record system
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes throughout the perioperative process

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification required
• Strong experience in Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, and/or Trauma OR settings required
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Lab work must be completed within 72 hours of contract signing

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Cerner charting system
• Experience in a high-volume or academic medical center environment
• Ability to adapt to flexible scheduling within the day shift window
