Field Mechanic ( Manchester, NH) What you can expect * $27.00/hour or more based on experience * Tool reimbursement program * Shift differential $10.00 per hour * Company vehicle and gas card * OT after 8 * Paid time off * Annual increase potential * Comprehensive Training program What you will do * Travel in the field and jobsites and work in the shop as needed (CDL a plus) * Plans work procedure and/or possible solutions such as part redesign, substitution of material or parts, or rearrangement of parts or subassemblies in conjunction with Equipment Superintendent * Trouble shoot and maintain all types of heavy equipment including dump trucks, pavers, reclaim and milling machines, loaders, graders, dozers, pavers and rollers * Examines equipment and discusses with superintendent, operator, or project manager the nature and extent of damage or malfunction * Ensure engagement of equipment team in all safety best practices, ensure compliance with all company policies and safety rules * Work closely with all equipment manufactures to keep up with new technology Benefits * 80% of health care cost paid by the Company year round * Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription benefits (one price) * Short- & long-term disability coverage (company sponsored) * 401K with a 5% company match * Profit sharing Work Location Manchester, New Hampshire Why Pike Industries?
