Job Description

• Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and create personalized therapy strategies to help them meet their functional objectives
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based methods to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and everyday activities
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nurses to ensure comprehensive, patient-focused care
• Teach Patients and Families: Provide education to patients and caregivers on effective therapy strategies to encourage ongoing improvement at home
• Track and Report Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatments when necessary, ensuring that patients remain on track toward their goals

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
• Ongoing education or advanced certifications encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
