$28.00 Effective Rate, $5,000 Sign-On Bonus 2nd Shift Hours, Sunday-Thursday Position Description CDL Production Operators are responsible for procedures associated with powder blender operation, equipment set-up and cleaning, monitoring and testing of final product quality, quality inspections and equipment operation and transferring of material between A to Z Drying facilities and customers. A CDL license with tanker endorsement is required for this position. Major Areas of Responsibility Move material between A to Z Drying facilities and customers. Operate the Tank/Tanker Wash CIP system. Assist in Powder Formulation/Blending department equipment clean-up and set-up. Perform various equipment checks, and formulation/blending operation tasks as assigned by the Manager. Perform in-process inspections of formulated/blended product for quality conformity on a continual basis. Visual inspection of manufacturing areas for in-process deficiencies and cleanliness. Verify that equipment is operating correctly. Physical attendance is an essential element of the job. Practice all company safety policies and procedures daily. Desirable Education and Experience Minimum of High School diploma or GED. One year or more of manufacturing experience. Experience associated with exceptional work quality / customer service skills. CDL license (with tanker endorsement) in good standing is required.
