We are seeking a Licensed Senior Civil/Structural Engineer with 8+ years of experience with a utility consulting company doing design engineering and reviews. A strong educational background in steel and concrete structures, geotechnical engineering, site design, and foundations is required. Responsibilities Perform design reviews of substation structure design, rigid‑bus design, foundation design, oil spill containment, retaining walls, masonry control shelters, site design packages, and fire walls. Lead engineering work on client projects, oversee team efforts, and ensure quality control on design packages. Develop and mentor junior staff members. Conduct site visits to client substation facilities and travel to client meetings and industry events as needed (up to 25%). Comply with quality‑control and safe‑work practices, maintaining project scope, schedule, and budget. Serve as a senior member of a design team comprising engineers, designers, and drafting technicians. Qualifications Bachelor’s of Science (BS) in Civil‑Structural Engineering – Required Master’s of Science (MS) in Civil‑Structural Engineering – Preferred PE Licensure – Required Experience with Microsoft Office, MATHCAD, STAAD.Pro, RISA‑3D, FAD Tools, SAFE, SAG10, LPILE, AutoCAD, and MicroStation – Required Strong analytical and technical writing skills Team player with ability to communicate with clients and staff Willingness to travel, up to 25% Work Location Framingham, MA (hybrid) or Walled Lake, MI (hybrid) Compensation Pay Range: $89,700.00 – $162,150.00 #J-18808-Ljbffr
