We specialize in placing the most critical, niche talent, particularly within AI/Machine Learning and high-velocity Sales teams. We are launching our "Rent-a-Recruiter" model to embed elite, results-focused talent acquisition professionals directly within our clients' teams, operating on an hourly consulting basis. The Role: The Hourly Niche Expert We are seeking recruiters with a background in staffing or agency recruiting who possess the speed and market intelligence necessary to scale highly specialized teams. You will be deployed on a contract, hourly basis to act as an embedded consultant, dedicating your expertise to one of two critical functions: AI/ML & Engineering: Sourcing Machine Learning Engineers, Data Scientists, Deep Learning Researchers, and specialized AI/Software Engineers. Strategic Sales: Sourcing Enterprise Account Executives, VP/Director-level Sales Leaders, and niche Commercial roles within Life Sciences/SaaS. This is a high-volume, high-impact consulting role where you are accountable for measurable results and accurate time tracking from day one. Key Responsibilities Niche Placement Velocity: Manage a challenging requisition load focused exclusively on either AI/ML Engineering or complex Sales roles, applying the velocity and closing focus of a staffing professional. Targeted Sourcing: Apply proven agency sourcing and networking techniques to build pipelines of candidates who have successfully built or sold products in high-growth, technically complex environments. Technical Acumen: Rapidly establish credibility with Founders, CTOs, and VPs of Sales by demonstrating a strong understanding of the specialized roles you recruit (e.g., understanding the difference between a Data Scientist and an ML Engineer, or a BDR and an Enterprise AE). Client & Strategy Partner: Advise hiring managers on market viability, highly competitive compensation for niche roles (including equity), and strategic closing techniques. Time Management & Billing: Diligently track time spent on various client mandates for accurate hourly billing and transparent reporting to Recruits Lab. Required Qualifications 3+ years of agency or staffing experience, with a primary focus on one of the following two verticals: AI/ML, Data Science, or Software Engineering Enterprise SaaS Sales, Commercial Life Sciences Sales, or Business Development Mandatory experience placing talent specifically within high-growth organizations, particularly those that are venture-backed or operating at startup speed. A verifiable track record of consistently meeting or exceeding placement quotas/targets. Exceptional market intelligence and superior negotiation skills. Highly proficient in advanced sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, specialized platforms) and comfortable using time tracking/reporting software. Model: Contract/Consulting, Paid Hourly Rate: Highly competitive hourly rate, commensurate with agency experience and niche AI/ML or Sales expertise (details discussed upon interview).
