Excess Casualty Broker, Senior Vice PresidentThe National Casualty Practice is a premier team of casualty brokerage professionals with extensive experience in representing buyers of primary and umbrella/excess liability. We are looking to add a senior broker to our Excess Casualty team! We are considering applicants in New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles. As an organization, we are united through trust as one inclusive team and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.What the day will look like:Perform the services of an insurance broker for umbrella and excess policiesAdvise and execute on the placement of new and renewal P&C programs including crafting submissionsExecuting placements within required timeframes and servicing those placements including their renewalsAnalyze and review insurance programs for clients to determine optimum program including structure, pricing, terms and conditions for both new and renewal businessHelp with the development of new and innovative solutions for the National Casualty PracticeDevelop and maintain strong relationships with the carriers and underwritersMentor and help develop less experienced members of the teamWork as a team member and collaborate with other colleagues within the Aon teamKnowledge of benchmarking and loss analysisPotential to be involved in senior leadership of casualty team membersHow this opportunity is different:Work on complex casualty accounts within our National Casualty Practice. As a senior broker, you'll mentor top talent, build strong market relationships, and collaborate with leadership — all while helping to grow Aon's casualty portfolio.Skills and experience that will lead to success:15+ years of relevant insurance P&C business experienceProven knowledge of casualty (workers compensation, commercial auto, general liability, umbrella/excess)Strong understanding of national casualty risks and carrier appetitesBroad relationships with the carriers that write national casualty P&C businessStrong collaboration and communication skillsOutstanding Microsoft Suite and presentation skillsEducation: Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of industry experienceProperty and Casualty Brokers License is requiredFor positions in San Francisco and Los Angeles, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction record in accordance with local Fair Chance ordinances.Aon is not accepting unsolicited resumes from search firms for this position. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary.
