Physical Therapist – Full-Time Weekday Role

Location: Piscataway, NJ
Compensation: $90,000–$100,000 per year, depending on experience
Hours: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Patient Pace: Approximately 1–2 patients each hour
Setting: Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapy

Role Overview

We are recruiting a licensed Orthopedic Physical Therapist to help patients improve function following orthopedic injury, surgery, or other musculoskeletal conditions.

Your work will focus on identifying the physical factors affecting each patient's daily activity and using appropriate rehabilitation strategies to address them. Treatment may include mobility work, progressive strengthening, balance training, functional exercise, and manual techniques based on clinical need.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and document baseline physical function
• Identify impairments affecting movement and daily activity
• Establish individualized rehabilitation goals
• Design and implement treatment programs
• Deliver therapeutic exercise and functional training
• Address range-of-motion and strength deficits
• Adjust treatment based on patient response and progress
• Teach patients appropriate exercises for use outside the clinic
• Complete required reevaluations and progress reports

Requirements

• Valid Physical Therapist License
• DPT or MSPT Degree
• Previous outpatient physical therapy experience
• Experience with orthopedic patient care
• Strong assessment and documentation skills
