You'll partner with internal Cast Members and external agencies across marketing strategy, creative advertising, PR and communications, customer engagement, and franchise/commercial teams. You will be responsible for providing input and shaping integrated communication plans and monitoring and analyzing campaign performance as part of a dynamic marketing team.The role reports to the Sr Manager, Marketing Strategy and is based in Glendale, CA.This role is a 24-month project hire (PH) or Internal Assignment (IA) position with no guarantee of permanent employment (length of role may change based on business needs).You Will / Responsibilities:Achieve annual results by working with management to develop and support marketing programs that incorporate strategy, critical thinking, analytics, and innovationSupport brand growth through communication planning, channel strategies, and brand managementHelp develop integrated marketing and sales communication by working with cross-functional teamsAnalyze data to identify marketing strategies, conclusions and business opportunitiesMaintain a high-level understanding of marketing trends in the consumer products spaceUse consumer insights and research to provide relevant input to partners across the entire marketing organizationSupport marketing activities, in partnership with sales, category teams, in-house creative agency, public relations, promotions, broadcast, media, and digital teams, to achieve seamless execution of marketing communication plansProvide overall creative feedback on marketing tactics and programsDevelop and deliver presentations for partners and senior managementShare updates with leadership to ensure all programs and plans have buy-offs by leaders and partnersOther tasks as neededYou Will Have / Required Qualifications:2+ years of consumer marketing experience in branding, category licensing, franchise, or other related field (including professional internships)Media planning, digital and social media skillsExperience framing up a verbal or written POV to influence leaders, partners, and peersExperience managing a portfolio of tactical programs, marketing and sales strategies, details, and budgetsExperience developing positive relationships in and out of marketing and working with diverse teams in an inclusive environment.Demonstrated analytical skills to analyze the performance of marketing tactics and business resultsGoal orientation with the ability to react quickly to changing business needs, remaining forward-thinking and flexibleExperience using Outlook, Excel, Word, Keynote & PowerPoint. This includes deck creation and some work with Photoshop as needed.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in Marketing Strategy, Consumer Package Goods, Brand Management, Advertising Account Management, Business/Program ManagementCross-functional knowledge both internally and externally working across departments such as marketing, creative agencies, brand, legal, data/consumer insights, and more.Experience working with consumer products (softlines and hardlines) and interacting with licensees or brand/IP partnersAbility to interact with a variety of levels of decision makers and staff.Required Education:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or equivalent work experienceAdditional Information:Disney offers a rewards package to help you live your best life. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.Reference: 10159315
