Tax Accountant

We are recruiting an experienced Tax Accountant for a CPA in Central Phoenix. This role has a base salary of $80,000 - $105,000 depending on experience. Responsibilities Prepare and review individual, business, trust, and corporate tax returns Ensure accurate and timely filing of all tax documents Conduct tax planning and projections for clients or the organization Research and resolve tax issues, staying current with changing regulations Supervise, train, and mentor junior staff and interns Manage client relationships and serve as a key contact for tax matters Provide support during tax audits and interact with tax authorities as needed Identify tax-saving opportunities and make recommendations for business/process improvements Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s or CPA preferred) 3–5+ years of relevant experience in public accounting or tax Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations and accounting principles Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Proficiency with CCH Axcess Tax and ProSystem fx Tax.
