About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Longview, Texas, 75601!

• Provide routine and complex nursing care utilizing the nursing process - assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation - for an assigned patient population with a mix of diagnoses and acuity levels, including respiratory conditions, sepsis, and multiple co-morbidities.
• Administer medications and treatments per appropriate protocol; monitor for side effects and effectiveness of prescribed therapies.
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in accordance with scope of practice.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers; identify issues and connect with appropriate resources.
• Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers as needed to effectively manage the clinical situation.

• Active RN license in the state of Texas or a valid compact RN license
• Current BLS certification required (American Heart Association only)
• Current ACLS certification required (American Heart Association only)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Telemetry, IMC, or a related nursing specialty
• Ability to attend New Nurse Orientation within the first 30 days and complete all required on-boarding and competency validations

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Experience caring for patients with respiratory conditions, sepsis, and complex multi-comorbidity presentations
• Familiarity with organizational competency validation processes and preceptor-based on-boarding programs

• Projected start date of August 31, 2026, with an expected 13-week engagement - an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a dynamic acute care telemetry environment.
• Work alongside a supportive clinical team in a setting that values professional development and ongoing competency growth.
