Salary: $100K to $115K range (based on experience)
Qualifications of the RN Unit Manager-Nursing Home:
- Must have Pennsylvania RN license
- Prior nurse management experience in long term care
- Must have long term care/skilled nursing experience
- Excellent leadership skills and abilities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Assist with patient's examinations and/or questions.
- Implement and interpret organizational policies and procedures, and nursing standards and regulations.
- Assess patient nursing care needs and prepares and carries out a nursing care plan.
- Collaborates with medical staff in care and treatment of patients.
- Provides accurately descriptive records of the medical treatment and nursing care of patients.
- Deliver hands-on care and medication administration as needed
- Address questions or complaints brought forward by Residents or their families
- Represent the unit's interests with the upper-level management
