Materials Handler

The Materials Handler unloads and receives inbound shipments, working with operations and manufacturing teams to support the routine operation and organization of the facilities.

Responsibilities

• Receive and store materials and equipment.
• Perform routine receiving activities for supplies and equipment arriving to the site, including materials receipt, and stocking; properly picking of process orders for Manufacturing
• Operate manual and electric pallet jacks and other handling equipment
• Load and unload products and materials
• Pick and pack orders for shipping
• Keep records of received, stored, and distributed materials
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization
• Ensure safe handling of materials and products.
• Picking process orders for manufacturing.
• Cycle counting
• Safety

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Due to the nature of the work and compliance with safety protocols/regulations, fluency in English (reading and writing) is required.
• Able to work the hours of 8:00-4:30.
• Physical endurance (standing, walking, lifting);
• Ability to work nonstandard hours;
• Detail-oriented and capable of following extensive instructions;
• Inclination toward working as part of a team
• Familiarity with computers and data-entry software, SAP or Oracle preferred.
