Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Contract | Days | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy treatments to patients in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans to improve patient mobility, strength, and functional independence
• Document patient progress, treatment sessions, and responses to therapy in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient goals and transitions of care
• Educate patients and family members on home exercise programs and safe functional techniques

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of New Hampshire or eligibility for licensure
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or similar post-acute care setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel or contract therapy experience
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems used in SNF environments
