Neurology Physician Assistant (PA-C)
Location: Bronx, NY
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $130,000–$150,000/year + potential bonuses
Job Summary
Seeking a Physician Assistant (PA-C) to provide patient care in a collaborative Neurology setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and relevant experience in Neurology, Acute Care, Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, or Surgery.
Responsibilities
- Perform histories, physical exams, and clinical assessments.
- Assist with diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Prescribe medications and therapies as permitted.
- Perform routine procedures, including injections, wound care, and splinting.
- Monitor patients and provide education and follow-up.
- Maintain accurate medical records and collaborate with physicians.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited PA program.
- Active New York State PA license and NCCPA certification.
- NY Controlled Substance Registration and DEA.
- 1+ year relevant clinical experience or postgraduate surgical training.
- BLS/ACLS preferred.
- EMR/EHR experience preferred.
