The Sterile Processing Tech will support the Sterile Processing Department. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED. Candidates must be graduates of an accredited sterile processing program. A minimum of 1-year recent relevant experience is required. BLS certification is necessary. Additional certifications must include CBSPD and IAHCSMM/HSPA. The position requires 5 shifts per week, covering nights. Every other weekend coverage is necessary. Candidates must demonstrate competency in sterile processing standards. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential. This role is crucial in ensuring that surgical instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and ready for use. Applicants should possess strong teamwork and communication skills. All candidates must comply with onboarding and work history verification processes. The successful candidate will be tasked with maintaining high standards in infection control and patient safety.
