Our team and state-of-the-art programs create a world-class health care organization and the destination center for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular care with complex structural heart disease and interventions, advanced heart failure service as well as advanced imaging with cutting edge technologies.**FTE:1.0**, **Shift: Days,** **Schedule:** Days 10 hour shifts Mon-Fri**Position Summary**The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for performing PET/CT and nuclear medicine procedures; maintaining departmental standards in accordance with Policies and Procedures, and up-to-date knowledge on new techniques and procedures. This position works under limited supervision independently performing PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine testing. Work situations require a service-oriented individual. Procedures performed require independent judgement, initiative, ingenuity, and strict adherence to radiation safety management guidelines. Internal contacts are primarily with patient care staff. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
