Operating Room Registered Nurse Per Diem

Center for Special Surgery is hiring an Operating Room Registered Nurse Per Diem.

Center for Special Surgery is an Ambulatory Surgery Center in St. Petersburg, Florida. Ambulatory surgery centers (or outpatient surgery centers) are healthcare facilities where surgical procedures not requiring an overnight hospital stay are performed.

PRN Operating Room Registered Nurse at Center for Special Surgery. The Registered Nurse Operating Room provides nursing care and service during surgical cases. The Operating Room RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Experienced in surgical procedures in the following specialties: Orthopedics, sports medicine, spine, pain, podiatry, and now offering outpatient total joint replacement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center
• A minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
