Position WK Medical Center – Respiratory Therapy – Respiratory-Oxygen & Treatment Location: Shreveport, LA Category: Allied Health Employment Type: Temporary, Night shift (7P-7A) – PRN positions Posted: 04/16/2026 Job Summary The Willis Knighton Health System Respiratory Care Department is offering PRN positions for Respiratory Therapists. Candidates must schedule a minimum of 32 hours over a two‑week period. Responsibilities Provide general floor care for patients. Treat patients in the Emergency Department, CCU, ICU, PACU, PICU, and NICU (Level III). Potential future opportunities in Bronchoscopy Lab, Pulmonary Function Lab, Hyperbaric and Wound Care Clinic, and Pulmonary Rehabilitation. Participate in ECMO Team training and activities for RRTs with at least 6 months CCU experience. Assist in ground and air transport call team for NICU‑trained Respiratory Therapists. Qualifications Current NBRC Credential, LSBME Licensure, and BLS Certification. Licensure from the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners is required. Experience in CCU preferred (minimum 6 months). Experience in NICU preferred for transport team support.
