MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Anesthesiology

Description

This full-time, on-site position within the Medical Practice industry offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality anesthesia care while contributing to patient safety and positive surgical outcomes.

As an Associate-level Anesthesiologist, you will provide anesthesia services across a range of procedures, conduct thorough pre-operative assessments, and monitor patients throughout surgical and procedural care. You will work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other clinical staff to ensure coordinated, patient-centered treatment.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and assess patient risk factors
• Develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans
• Administer general, regional, and local anesthesia as required
• Monitor patient vital signs and anesthesia depth throughout procedures
• Manage airway, respiratory, and hemodynamic complications during surgery
• Provide post-anesthesia care and oversee patient recovery
• Collaborate with surgical teams, nurses, and support staff
• Maintain accurate and compliant medical records and documentation
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Adhere to clinical guidelines, protocols, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology residency program
• Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology
• Valid and unrestricted medical license in the applicable state
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, airway management, and anesthesia techniques
• Excellent clinical judgement and decision-making under pressure
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to patient safety, ethics, and continuous professional development

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7a-3:30p

1:5 backup call rotation, CRNAs take first call

Cases: General surgery, thoracic, vascular, OB/maternity, ENT, ophthalmology, ortho, urology, minimal peds

No heads, hearts, or spines

Medically-directed, overseeing 4 CRNAs

Must be board-certified
