Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (Evenings, Weekends, and Call)

This is a 13-week contract position.

All hours will be evenings, weekends, and call. This is a flex position.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with the following credentials and experience. This role requires both vascular and general sonography expertise in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment.
• Maintain high standards of patient care during procedures.
• Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to protocols and maintain accurate patient records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Completion of a C.A.H.E.P. accredited training program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• ARRT certification in Radiology.
• Registered by the ARDMS or ARRT with certification in one specialty (AB, OB/Gyn, PS, RVT).
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) via ARDMS is required.
• BLS certification (AHA) required.
• Minimum experience in vascular and general sonography.
