This role is responsible for creating, managing, and coordinating accurate BIM / VDC models. The individuals focus will be on Electrical systems for industrial projects. This position works closely with the project team to support the successful planning, coordination, and execution of the project. Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain complete and accurate BIM models based on drawings, specifications, and contract documents.Prepare detailed installation drawings and bill of materials from the BIM models using approved drafting standards. Review, manage, and manipulate electronic design files Update models and drawings to reflect as-built conditions Coordinate with Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical disciplines to integrate project features into unified BIM models Interface with project team members to understand and implement project requirements Support ongoing project coordination and constructability efforts through effective modeling practicesCoordinate and possibly manage other BIM and VDC teams working on the project Skills & Qualifications:Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of experience with BIM platformsExperience with electrical tradesExperience with mechanical trades is a plusExperience with Off Site manufacturing is a plusKnowledge & Experience:Understanding of electrical systems, layouts, and industrial construction processesAbility to read and interpret construction documents, drawings, and specificationsStrong experience with 3D modeling workflows in a construction or industrial environmentSoft Skills:Strong written and verbal communication skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently High attention to detail and accuracy BenefitsKokosing offers competitive compensation and benefits package including medical, life, and disability insurance, paid time off and a 401K plan.
