This role requires a proactive, hands-on contributor who is committed to continuous improvement and finding effective solutions.ResponsibilitiesPerform electrical, painting, and carpentry repairs on facility fixtures and equipment.Install, relocate, and recommission new or existing equipment as needed.Maintain and repair air compressors, air dryers, and vacuum systems that support production operations.Complete basic engineering calculations related to new equipment installations.Update mechanical drawings and prints to reflect approved changes.Service and maintain HVAC and ventilation systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications.Provide recommendations to the supervisor for equipment upgrades and process improvements.Maintain accurate maintenance records for assigned equipment.Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine inspections to identify maintenance needs.Execute preventive maintenance activities and ensure all required documentation is completed accurately.Follow all applicable health, safety, and environmental requirements.Adhere to company security policies and established procedures.QualificationsHS Diploma or equivalent required3-5 years experience; or demonstrated skills required to perform the jobHands-on experience with warehouse equipment, basic electrical work, lighting systems, equipment installation, assembly, and general repairs.Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and apply basic engineering principles to identify solutions.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems, including maintaining records, completing reports, and ordering parts.Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and respond effectively to maintenance needs.Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced and growing maintenance environment.Be aware of fraud: When applying for a job at Jabil you will be contacted via correspondence through our official job portal with a jabil.com e-mail address; direct phone call from a member of the Jabil team; or direct e-mail with a jabil.com e-mail address.
