We are seeking Heavy Equipment Operators to safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment and support daily field operations on heavy civil construction projects.

What You’ll Do

• Safely operate heavy construction equipment, including excavators, loaders, dozers, skid steers, rollers, and other equipment as assigned.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance, mechanical, or safety concerns.
• Excavate, grade, load, backfill, compact, and move materials based on project requirements.
• Follow grade stakes, site plans, and supervisor direction to complete assigned work accurately and efficiently.
• Work safely around ground personnel, other equipment, utilities, excavations, and active work zones.
• Assist with general site activities and support field crews based on project needs.
• Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean, safe, and organized condition.
• Follow all company, project, and site-specific safety requirements.

• Strong awareness of construction hazards, equipment blind spots, and safe operating practices.
• Ability to follow site plans, grade stakes, and supervisor direction.
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, spotters, and ground personnel.
• Dependability, accountability, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and contribute effectively as part of a field crew.
• Willingness to operate multiple types of equipment and assist with other site tasks as needed.
• Ability to perform physical work outdoors in varying weather and site conditions, including rough or uneven terrain.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Education | Experience

• Previous heavy equipment operating experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in heavy civil construction, site development, excavation, grading, or similar field construction work strongly preferred.
• Experience operating multiple types of heavy construction equipment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and applicable equipment certifications preferred, where required.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
