To support the Enterprise's financial objectives, the full-time remote State Licensed Lead Actuary will manage rate-making for risk assumption products, set liabilities for financial reporting, and mentor a team of analysts while ensuring compliance with regulations. Key responsibilities Collaborates with partners to analyze data and develop models that minimize risk and maximize profitability Estimates projections for pricing and reserves, forecasting product performance and identifying trends Mentors and supervises Actuaries and Analysts, presenting actuarial models and recommendations to management and stakeholders Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Business, or a related quantitative field Associate in the Society of Actuaries and membership in the American Academy of Actuaries required Minimum of ten years of actuarial experience, primarily in healthcare Proficient in relational databases, statistical packages, and spreadsheet applications Advanced knowledge of healthcare financing and managed care delivery models
