Irrigation Installer/ Technician
Job Summary
- Install, maintain, and service irrigation systems.
General Accountabilities
- Installs irrigation systems according to specifications, blueprints, and diagrams.
- Lays and connects water lines.
- Installs irrigation fixtures, pumps, timers, and valves.
- Performs preventative maintenance on irrigation systems, including winterizing the system.
- Tests installed systems to ensure proper operation.
- Uses established methods to develop watering schedule and avoid waste.
- Ensures installed irrigation systems conform to city codes.
- Troubleshoots and repairs or replaces damaged or malfunctioning parts.
- Renovates or removes old irrigation systems.
- Keeps records as required.

Job Qualifications
- Experience: At least 2 years of related experience
- Certification: Irrigation installer/auditor certification preferred
