Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for clients seeking mental health support.

• Facilitate consultations for the creation of pre-crisis and crisis intervention plans alongside multidisciplinary teams.

• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory standards, ensuring all clinical interactions are well-documented.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools for client evaluation, integrating findings into ongoing treatment strategies.
\n
• Collaborate with various teams to design and implement positive behavior support plans for clients.
\n
• Engage actively in licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring compliance with all pertinent regulations.
\n
• Act as a liaison between clients and community resources, including state agencies, to facilitate access to needed services.
\n
• Foster positive relationships with local and state agencies as well as private organizations to enhance program visibility and secure partnerships.
\n
• Commit to continuous professional development, attending conferences, training sessions, and contributing to agency representation at meetings and task forces.
\n
• Promote the agency's mission, values, and philosophy through your daily interactions and planned initiatives.
\n
• Perform other related duties as directed by the Clinic Director to ensure comprehensive care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will serve come from diverse backgrounds and may experience a variety of mental health challenges. You will work with individuals facing emotional difficulties, those recovering from substance use disorders, and clients with developmental disabilities and brain injuries. Your expertise will play a significant role in helping these individuals navigate their unique challenges, offering them the tools they need to improve their quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field is required.

• Current independent LMHC License recognized by the state of New York.
\n
• Proven ability to maintain clinical records and prepare comprehensive reports.

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to express ideas clearly and concisely.
