Thar organization has been a global leader in the use of green, all natural, supercritical fluid processing for the energy, pharmaceutical, food, and chemical industries.Thar Energy has an immediate opening for an experienced Instrumentation-Mechanical Technician to join its team responsible for instrumentation selection and installation and operation and maintenance of small-scale industrial process plants and equipment.Job responsibilities include:Assemble/disassemble and clean plant equipment, piping and instrumentsOperate and manage (troubleshoot) pumps, heat exchangers, valves, instrument control systemsInvestigate and troubleshoot plant/process problemsEnsure that equipment works to its specification and to appropriate capacitiesLiaise with installation/project engineers and specialistsOrder and maintain lab and pilot supplies inventoryEnsure safe working conditions and compliance with health and safety legislationRequirements include:Experience with pressure transmitters, flow meters, pumps, VFDsExperience with piping and equipment/instruments installationFormal education not necessary, but associates in any related field helpsGood communication skills with the ability to work both independently and in team environmentsSend cover letter and resume to Marc Portnoff at View email address on click.appcast.io
