Automotive TechnicianAt Classic Ford - Smithfield, we are seeking skilled automotive technicians to join our team. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to work with a reputable company, providing a range of automotive services while enhancing your technical expertise and contributing to exceptional customer experiences. Compensation ranges from $20.00 to $50.00 per hour and is paid semi-monthly. We have a state-of-the-art facility, temperature controlled and all of the latest tools and equipment and a well-stocked parts department.ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections to ensure vehicle safety and reliability.Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues using industry-standard diagnostic tools and equipment.Collaborate with service advisors to accurately assess customer concerns and provide clear explanations of necessary repairs.Maintain accurate and detailed service records following company guidelines.Stay current with manufacturer updates, technical bulletins, and training to maintain certification and improve skills.Adhere to all safety regulations and support a clean, organized, and professional work environment.RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in automotive technology preferred.Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of vehicle systems.Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with proficiency in using repair and diagnostic tools.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and customer service skills.Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.Willingness to participate in ongoing training and maintain up-to-date industry certifications.BenefitsCompetitive hourly pay ranging from $20.00 to $50.00, paid semi-monthly.Opportunities for professional growth and technical training.Supportive team environment with strong emphasis on safety and quality.Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off (specific benefits to be discussed during the hiring process).About the CompanyMills Auto Group understands rapid growth in the automotive space.
