LifePro Developer

We are looking for a LifePro Developer to join a team in West Des Moines, Iowa in a contract-to-permanent position. This position is suited for a senior-level engineer who brings strong back-end development experience and enjoys building reliable solutions within insurance and policy administration environments. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, collaborating with peers, and using modern AI-enabled tools to improve development speed, quality, and decision-making.Responsibilities:• Design, develop, and enhance back-end applications using C# and .NET to support business-critical policy administration functions.• Maintain and improve solutions connected to LifePro and mainframe-based systems, ensuring dependable performance and long-term stability.• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries and SQL Server components to support application functionality and data integrity.• Partner with technical leads and team members to evaluate development approaches and clearly communicate the reasoning behind implementation decisions.• Use Azure DevOps to manage assigned work, contribute to delivery planning, and support efficient software development practices.• Apply AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot to streamline coding tasks, improve productivity, and explore better engineering outcomes.• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate operational needs into practical technical solutions.• Support ongoing application maintenance, issue resolution, and enhancements for existing enterprise platforms.• Share ideas proactively with the team and contribute to a culture of open discussion, continuous improvement, and thoughtful problem-solving.
