About the Position

Job Title: X-Ray Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: X-Ray Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 18:30 - 07:00 Experience: Minimum of 18 months permanent experience in specialty License: Must have a permanent Ohio license in hand at time of submission. Compact licenses accepted for starts on or after 1/1/23. Certifications: Required certifications need to be active with nothing pending. Must-Have: One reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for submission. Description: The position involves alternating weeks of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. COVID-19 vaccine is required, with medical or religious exemptions only. Flu vaccine is also required, with medical or religious exemptions only. Candidates must have at least 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty applying for. All required certifications need to be active with no pending requirements. A background check will review any hits, and the facility will not accept any traveler with an open case or license hits. All travelers must be nicotine-free, with a negative 10 panel drug screen required within 12 months of the start date. Candidates will need to pick up their badge and complete onsite fingerprints before their start date. Extensions are possible with the client for a period of 18 months, with a required 6-month break thereafter. Travel candidates who remain on contract for a minimum of one year need to complete an annual hands-on competency requirement. Modules are completed pre-start and annually and vary by specialty. Annual modules are billable up to 4 hours for those who have been on contract for a continuous year. Failure to complete required modules may result in non-compliance and removal from the schedule. Candidates must submit their profiles through the proper channels for consideration.
