This position performs installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical equipment used to support facility operations and a variety of environmental projects.Estimated Pay Range:$50,233.92 - $69,070.88Benefits:Health Insurance with choice of medical plan and prescription, dental, vision, and life and disability insurance options, along with flexible spending accounts401K retirement savings program with generous agency matchPaid vacation, personal and sick leaveEleven paid holidays per yearTuition assistanceMinimum Requirements:Graduation from a standard high school or possession of GED equivalency certificate plus three years of experience performing installation, repair and maintenance of mechanical equipment.Formal schooling from an accredited vocational school with a major in a related field may be substituted for experience. Education experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for up to three years of the required experience.Appointment to some sites may require Commercial Driver’s License with specific endorsements.Must have a valid driver's license with less than 5 points.This position will be open until filled.Any offer of employment will be contingent upon successfully completing required pre-employment screens, to include full background check, drug & alcohol screening, and position appropriate physical.Maryland Environmental Service is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
