Supply Chain Operations Associate – Romulus, MI We are immediately hiring a Supply Chain Operations Associate in Romulus, MI for our Supply Chain Solutions division. Essential Functions Follow up on all purchased parts to ensure timely shipment and delivery performance to support production requirements. Serve as main point of contact for all suppliers; provide direction regarding ship schedule requirements and containment plans when behind schedule. Track critical parts and develop/executive containment plans to ensure no interruptions or downtime on the manufacturing line. Coordinate alternative sources of material and request spot buys when necessary. Independent monitoring, set‑up, and cancellation of truck loads for material pick‑up to support schedule variations and ensure proper material coverage at lowest possible cost. Review part buffers to ensure they cover build requirements; document and manage S and AV code exceptions and maintain alarm intervals. Maintain accurate inventory levels in MGO, making adjustments as necessary; investigate and process record adjustment requests from the previous shift. Flexible work schedule. Qualifications H.S. Diploma/GED required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. 1 year or more in administrative experience preferred. 1 year or more in relevant experience preferred. Knowledge of MGO (GM’s MRP system) intermediate preferred. Knowledge of transportation management intermediate preferred. Knowledge of material flow as it relates to manufacturing processes intermediate preferred. Travel No travel required. Job Category Materials Planning & Scheduling Compensation Information Target Pay: $50,000 per year. Eligible for overtime and an annual bonus, commission, and long‑term incentive plan based on level and type. Salary ranges: $50,000 minimum to $50,000 maximum.
