Responsibilities

• Assess patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics through standardized assessments and observational methods.
• Create individualized treatment plans targeting both immediate and long-term communication and swallowing needs.
• Deliver tailored speech therapy interventions focusing on communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Team up with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members to develop coherent patient care strategies.
• Educate patients and their families to encourage progress beyond clinical settings.
• Perform occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions to ensure seamless continuity of care.
• Keep detailed and timely documentation in alignment with state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Engage in continuous education and peer collaboration to stay updated with the latest advancements in the field.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of hire.
