(Please mail or bring a copy of your college transcript or diploma for the interview—you must have an official transcript prior to the start date). Physical Requirements include occasional lifting of up to 45 lbs.Preferred QualificationsPrevious employment with any state's Department of Public Health or a County Board of HealthBachelor's degree in nursingBaccalaureate-level health assessment courseExperience with performing physical exams on males and females, including genitaliaExperience administering immunizationsTB experience, such as contact investigation, treatments, including Direct Observation TherapyCase management/tracking experienceBilingual (Spanish), ability to interpret and translate health care information orally and in writing from English into the specific foreign language (Spanish) and from the specific foreign language (Spanish) into English.This office must receive a State Merit Application for Employment no later than the deadline. This position may require driving company vehicles (A valid driver's license is required) and working some evenings and weekends during special events such as health fairs and responding to disasters.
