Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Legal Assistant/Legal Secretary to join our team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of our attorneys, providing support and ensuring they are able to carry out their duties. You will communicate with clients, compile case materials, and carry out a variety of legal administrative duties. The ideal candidate is hardworking and detail-oriented. 

Responsibilities 

• Provide general administrative support and office tasks 
• Communicate with clients 
• Welcome clients into the office and evaluate their needs
• Prepare case-specific documents, including memoranda and briefs
• Ensure that case-related documents are well organized and available for review
• Proofreading correspondence and other legal documents
• Open new files
• Calendaring transaction deadlines
• Maintain and update documentation 
• E-filing

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Legal Assistant/Legal Secretary or similar role is required
• Familiarity with legal procedures, terminology, and the court system helpful
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized with document management experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe Pro
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
