Warehouse Specialist

QC Supply is hiring a Full-Time Warehouse Specialist in Schuyler, Nebraska . In this role you will be responsible for processing all inventory transactions within the facility from receiving products through shipping to the customer. As a Warehouse Specialist at QC Supply, you will be the backbone of our supply chain. You will ensure inventory accuracy in the distribution center, splitting your time between receiving, putting away, picking, packing and shipping orders to our customers. What 'll Do Inventory Management: Receive, stage, and stock incoming products, ensuring our inventory management system is always accurate. Order Fulfillment: Expertly pick, pack, and prepare customer and vendor orders for safe shipping. Showroom & Counter Sales: Assist walk-in customers, process payments, and provide expert advice on agriculture and equipment parts. Facility Maintenance: Help keep our warehouse and retail spaces clean, organized, and safe. What You Bring To The Team Physical Stamina: Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted and remain on your feet throughout your shift. Tech Skills: Comfort with computers, portable scanning technology, and general office equipment. Customer-First Attitude: Strong communication and multitasking skills to juggle warehouse duties. Experience: Previous warehouse, distribution, or agricultural industry experience is preferred, but we will train the right person! Requirements: A High School Diploma (or GED) and a valid driver's license. Forklift certification is a major plus. Why QC Supply? Put-Away: Stage, stock, and organize incoming freight in designated warehouse bin locations. Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders securely for customers, QC sites, and vendor partners. Aid in transfer into and stocking of the QC Supply on site retail space. Inventory Control: Conduct routine cycle counts, physical inventories, and maintain optimal stock levels to prevent shortages. Upkeep: Keep the warehouse, stockroom, and facility workspaces clean, safe, and highly organized at all times. Administration & General Operations Tech Operations: Process transactions smoothly via ERP systems, operate office equipment, and use computer software efficiently. Team Collaboration: Maintain an enthusiastic, positive attitude and jump in to help teammates or handle other duties as assigned. Qualifications And Education Requirements Education & Experience Minimum Education: High school diploma or GED. Experience: 1+ years in a warehouse or distribution environment, preferably with an understanding of inventory control concepts. Industry Knowledge Familiarity with the agriculture industry and associated parts/equipment is a plus. Eagerness to continually learn and upgrade product and industry knowledge. Technical & Operational Skills Current forklift certification with proven experience operating both stand‑up and sit‑down lifts. Proficiency in using portable warehouse technology within a warehouse environment and Microsoft Office products. Core Competencies & Soft Skills Organization & Adaptability: Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt smoothly to a changing work environment. Teamwork & Communication: Strong oral communication skills with a history of balancing team goals with individual responsibilities. Ability to read and understand basic English. Integrity & Safety: Strict adherence to organizational values, policies, and safety/security procedures. Physical Ability Capacity to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds. This position will require up to 100% standing and walking with associates time spent in a distribution center. Availability Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, with flexibility for occasional overtime.
