Payroll & Transformation Specialist (Global Organization)

We are seeking a Payroll & Transformation Specialist to support a critical payroll transformation initiative while ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing. This role will play a key part in transitioning payroll operations to a centralized hub in Mexico, while also driving standardization and continuous improvement across U.S. payroll processes. Key Responsibilities

Payroll Processing & Accuracy

• Support end-to-end payroll processing for weekly and semi-monthly, multi-state payroll
• Perform pre- and post-payroll audits to ensure accuracy in wages, deductions, taxes, and benefits
• Validate and maintain high-quality HR and payroll data integrity
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies with a focus on root-cause analysis and prevention
• Provide backup support for Tax Analyst responsibilities to ensure ongoing compliance and business continuity

Process Improvement & Transformation

• Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, systems, and workflows, with an emphasis on standardization across the Americas
• Partner with the transformation team to support the migration of payroll back-office operations, reporting related to the Global
• HubDocument, develop, and maintain payroll policies, procedures, and best practices
• Contribute ideas and insights that enhance efficiency, scalability, and compliance

Employee Support & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with HR, Finance, IT, and transformation teams to resolve issues and optimize processes
• Partner cross-functionally to ensure accurate employee data and seamless payroll operations
• Serve as a point of contact for payroll-related continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field experience.
• 5+ years of payroll experience, including multi-state payroll processing
• Experience with payroll systems; Dayforce experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to operate effectively in a global, transformation-focused environment
• Strong understanding of process improvement methodologies and change management
• Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy and integrity
• Advanced analytical and reporting skills, including proficiency in Excel. Power BI is a plus.
